On September 10, Alessandro Crudele makes his long awaited return visit to Hong Kong Sinfonietta, where he made his acclaimed debut in 2011.
The press wrote then “His control of tempo, orchestral layering and volume was precision-tooled yet it allowed the music to breathe naturally”.
The evening includes the Asian Première of “Canon and Fugue” by Bach/Benjamin, Mendelssohn Symphony No. 5 and Elgar’s Cello concerto with German virtuoso Daniel Müller-Schott.
Later this month, Alessandro will join the Orchestra UniMi to make his return to the MiTo SettembreMusica music festival in Milano.
The beautifully designed programme is based on the Festival’s theme “Fathers and Sons” and includes music by Rameau, Ravel’s Tombeau de Couperin and Pulcinella Suite by Stravinsky, as well as the Italian Premiere of Guillaume Connesson’s Concertino pour Piano, with the German pianist Ragna Schirmer.
